Common Questionsโ
Why is this called an Experimental Feature?โ
Competition editing is complex, and it is difficult to test every possible scenario. We make this feature available as Experimental so we can gather feedback and fix bugs reported by users. If it proves too unstable, we may remove it.
The competition is stuck after my changes. What should I do?โ
Restore your savegame backup, then report the problem in the Bug Tracker. Describe exactly what you edited, step by step, so we can investigate.
Can I change fixture dates or match results?โ
The individual fixture Date field cannot be edited. Match results can be edited, but these changes do not affect the 3D match or match statistics.
To change league-table totals, use Standings.
What happens if I edit the result of a match that has already been played?โ
The full effect of changing a played result is uncertain. It might change the aggregate score in a knockout stage, but this has not been tested. It will not update the 3D match details, other match statistics or player statistics.
In a group stage, can I swap a team that has already qualified for the next round?โ
FMRTE does not check whether teams have already qualified, so it allows the swap. Once a team has qualified, swapping it only changes its group; it does not change which team advances to the next round.
In a cup stage, why did a team still qualify after I changed its result to a defeat?โ
Once a team has qualified, changing the fixture result does not undo that qualification.
